Next trip to Idaho, I pick up the garden, all but the dirt, and take it with me.
The new owner is not a gardner, and says I can take it all. So the drip irrigation system, the trellises and fences, the posts and grow boxes all get loaded up next trip.
That is a fairly serious move, I think.

Serious indeed. I spent this morning with a master gardener here in Ga and she and her husband have been converting woodland into paths and ferns and native plants that are wonderful. Fences they still need to keep the bunnies and deer from eating their kitchen garden, but what rewarding hard work. And at 70 they're not young but love it all. Susan

Here in this corner of Washington, it is time to begin early gardening. In the next few days I'll get much of the early veggies planted.
We don't have trouble with critters, except the two dogs that go with the territory. THey don't know a seed bed from a doggie path.
Oh well.
