This is an illustration I came across that Miriam did. It was printed on newsprint so the scan is not good. The guy in back is a real MD. I survived it all!
And, yes Miriam was a very good painter and illustrator. It was a short career, less than a decade. She went to college in her 40's and was forced, by AD to retire at 62.
Durn it all.

wow she is quiet good. I am not surprised but still wow. And its pretty cool that you got to be the model sometimes. I cant say I dident laugh when i saw that you were choking though. BUT only b/c i knew you were not actually choking. If you were I would save you not laugh. LOL
This is amazing. What a talent. And the funny thing is ...I can't even draw a stick man.LOL Some people have the talent to pick a pencil or a paint brush and leave the world with some beautiful art works. My DH loves to draw (mostly pics of the dogs) and he is so extremely talented. And what makes me sad is that he does not want to do it a career..just a hobby as he calls it..I can bake and sew all day long but as far as drawing, unfortunately that is not me...Ms. Miriam is so talented...and this diesase is robbing so many people of so many talents...take care
