My son in law called yesterday to tell me that they we cutting these old giants up for scrap.
I suppose that is the thing to do, they are not very useful.
But, we tend to cut up anything we don't think is "useful."
Now I am glad I took time to photograph these relics of an earlier age.

Wish I had pictures of my "Bampa's" old combines, tractors and, especially his red pick-up. I will always remember the last time I saw him, driving away in the red pick-up.
There are so many things we did not photograph when we should have.
On the other hand, those pictures are in our heads pretty well, we just can't share them.
